Amazing Paris

Magpaka-turista sa Amsterdam

I owe it to my sister. thanks for the experience. i was able to go to museum, dam square and have the canal cruise. Forget about the red light district, my sister said its not worth it.

Sheep! Sheep!

I wish I have my pamangkinis to see all of them. They are soo cute but yes the bible is true about them. They are trusting, easy to scare and they just eat and eat where they are stationed. Maybe next time I will interview the shepherd to know more about them.

Mariuana?

My sister and i went to open market last Wednesday and bought some plants there. Along with other plants I saw this and thought aren't these the...? Am not really sure. But, am sure my sister didn't buy that plant. hehe

Enjoying the Sun

Yey its warmer today! Just had a long walk from the market and i decided to rest on a bench nearby the bldg. The water and the ducks were picture perfect.

Re-learning things...

So far two things I am forced to re-learn here: 1. Wash the dishes, the dutch way 2. Ride the bicycle along hi-way I just learned that hot water is so precious here as clean drinking water is in Philippines. So in washing the dishes, the dutch people have special dish-washing liquid soap that doesn't require rinsing. Strange for me but I just followed what I had to do. Believe me, the dishes don't smell and they are indeed clean. I really had to set aside the filipino practice in this simple chore for a while. Now regarding the second re-learning. We went back to stores again (i attached some pics our first stop was chocolate store) but this time I have to practice my biking skills. People here normally go around by bicycles. My sister told me I have to get used to riding the bike and familiarize myself with the directions so I can go by my self next time. I know how to drive bicycle but not on a hi-way. I was praying that God would protect me while riding the bike. It was quit

First 2 days in Wageningen

waited for ate to arrive from denmark I arrived in amsterdam at 12mn manila time and waited for 2 hours for my sister who will be coming from Denmark. i was sleepy but with 6hrs difference the sun was still up in here. i barely slept in the plane. i just watched 4 movies, read book, listened to music and ate. thank God my seatmate was pinoy and he was just quiet. the next day my sister and another friend took me to a walk around the town. it was easter monday. yep they have 2nd easter so it was quiet and most of the shops were closed. i thank the Lord for giving me good health so far and enduring the brrrrrrrr cold of spring time. its 10degrees here but it becomes 5 at night.
