Be Thou My Vision Lately God has been reminding me of that hymn, Be Thou My Vision. In the lyrics it says, "Thou my best thought by day or by night; waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light..." To wake up thinking of work to do, people to meet, errands, goals to achieve, etc. where can God be in all my time? His thoughts, His Word, should always be with me as I work, as I meet people, as I do my errands for the day and my goals to achieve. Last night, I've learned to pray for God's will. I am 35, single  (technically)   who have been asked numerous times every February of my life this same generic and sometimes annoying question of what will I do on the 14th? Normally my answer would just be a smile but this year is different. I have an answer, we have an all-girls-sleep-over partey!!! Last Feb14 (on a Friday, Payday, Valentines), while the Metro is cursed with heavy traffic both on streets and in trains (ya! people-traffic), I stayed at home the whole day to prepare for the night. My housemates and I, invited our girl friends to have a Valentines party at home and we called it P.U.S.O. Don't ask me what the acronym mean because I keep forgetting, the S though stands for Singles. See my pang-elementary wall decor...We even have our Love wall... Anyway, the ladies started coming by 5pm. The program was simple: eat, have a game and movie marathon. We had dinner, talked, laughed and ate as much sweets as we wanted (imagine 10+ women talking and la...

Obviously, I am not talking about the celebrity but the guy I often 'hang out' with (well, sometimes he can be a celebrity hihi ayown oh >> )  Because today is special, let me share to you some of the reasons why I think he is such an amazing man... I like talking with and listening to him...   He speaks kindly and  tries to listen attentively. He shares nerdy but interesting things...i think hehe. He'd give his thoughts and would ask what you think about them.  ...wag lang makakatulog :) I like doing things with him...  Eat, travel, eat again, church activities or even in stillness... I like that he has his unique ways of making fun of himself... A photo-bomber, OA, and more...LOL I like that he has good taste for arts... I can go on and on but among many things, I like his love for the Lord and passion to serve... To my Lloydie, Dingdong, I hope I didn't make you 'very uncomfor...

Some of my faves are Piolo, Xian, TJ Trinidad, Brad Pitt, Channing Tatum and Henry Cavill (this just in, yes Superman) BUT, I also have my eyes on the 'ugly'. They are the not-so-popular but equally 'appealing' and talented. They are often forgotten and unnoticed beside well-known female co-stars or personalities but to me these men got the 'IT'. Early last year, this was me in my daily office workplace. I couldn't believe it has been about a year since I left Nielsen. It was one of the toughest decisions I've ever made. I had the best career experience there not to mention the family and friends I've had inside the company. Five and a half years in media research was a grace from God. I am still amazed how I got the job, stayed and grew there. But, there is a time for everything. I knew I needed to go then and so things happened. Decisions made after another with much prayer and consultations. I am here now, free and in love (yey!). I'm still a researcher and a traveler by work and for play. To whatever comes next, God is my hope. He is my Good Shepherd.
