One of us!

Hiyee!
Welcome to my first blog in blogger.com.
Why am I here? Well, 1st I'm bored working this late and 2nd is more sensible. Just this lunchtime we attended a General Meeting held by Mores. Mr. Donald of Yehey! was speaking about blog, youtube, customerization, and many more things about what is big about internet now and what is the next big thing about internet.
I think I stayed there for an hour because we were late. The meeting was 12 and we came at nearly 1pm and I had to leave before 2pm to go back to office to meet with client.
Anyway, I picked up something that interests me to be back to blogging. Hopefully this time I'd be more serious. Because I think I have the habit of opening a blog account then write some stuff and when I get busy I would stop and you know, just be lazy to blog again but just hope I make time to blog again but no! I created a new blog account.
I have several abandoned blog sites one in friendster and the other in 360. Well anyway, blogger.com is a more serious blog site so I wish to improve this time.
And going back to my point. I picked up some things from what Donald were talking about. He said something like today's advertising look into the idea of connection, intimacy or making the consumers co-create. Media, including internet is a major contributor of putting customerization alive and relevant to a particular brands.
Donald Lim showed us a video (bad sounds though) that explains this thought. It showed people, all sorts, colors and types are connected. I'm also glad to hear about the cheap laptop that will be enjoyed by third world countries. Mechanically charged, small, fancy but cheap! I told my officemate this will increase computer literacy in Philippines if ever.
So I like to blog again. Wishing and hoping to do better this time.
Don't expect pictures though. The place where I am now (company) wouldnt allow me to insert.
And everybody say...be ONE OF US! :)

Revisiting my old PUP

Yesterday, after a morning of doing home errrands on my work leave, in the afternoon I visited PUP Grad School to request for a copy of grades and as i anticipated, I would have to go to different offices to request for clearance signature for my request. So I went to library, accounting and cashier. I am no longer used to lining up to pay for school but hey I'm in PUP its a norm. As they say PUP means 'Pila Ulit Pila'. I got tired lining up so I had toknene(quail eggs) and sago't gulaman for merienda and then took stairs to go up to my beloved org, Kalasag Christian Fellowship, the IVCF branch in PUP. Thank God I saw familiar faces and so I went in the tambayan room. They were having exec meeting for 2nd sem activities. It was a blessing to meet them and witness that they are continuing on to do the good work. I remember my college days when I would spend my breaktimes in the same room. Revisiting my old PUP brought back memories of happy college life. Many structur...

The Bride-To-Be That I Was (part 1)

In my blog, 'Three Months Before the Wedding' I said I will write about the experience of being a bride-to-be. So I am doing it now, after a year I got engaged! First in my list was 'Since May of this year'. Wow, that's a whole lot of detail to remember but let me share to you why that's in my list. May 9, 2016, on National Election Day, we got engaged. So May last year was a remarkable month for us. Now, how do we tell our family and friends? Most of you would say, uhm social media? No. Because we are not that type (nothing against couple who are), our first sort of a problem-solving was how are we going to inform people? And who goes first? Our parents live outside Metro Manila and we wanted to tell them the good news personally but when? So after setting schedules (which happened nearly a month after the proposal) we just have to hold telling other friends since it has to be family-first-information. Just imagine wanting to tell your close friends th...
