Think Heaven

My QT today is on 1Cor.5 where Paul exhorts believers in Corinth not to sue brethren.

Paul's reasons for saying so are as follows:
1. Believers will judge the world with Christ one day
2. Not only the world but the angels

...instead, settle the issue within the church.

I say this is how all believers should always think--think heaven. The prize ahead. The moment when we see Jesus face to face. The time when the world will recognize Jesus is God. The day when all believers go to heaven and glorify God forever!

Now I am reminded of the verse to "set my mind on things above" and the numerous times the bible speaks of loving the brother and sister.

I praise the Holy Spirit, that I am able to see this wisdom. There are more in the passage I've read this morning that I've learned but I just want to share one for now.

May you be surrender always your now to Him who is keeper of our souls now and forever.
