Do you believe in Jesus?

Honestly, after watching Case For Christ, I realized how many people have different views about who Jesus is. Some would totally refuse to believe His claims, some would partially believe on some of His claims while others are strongly believing but somehow there are also those who can't explain why they believe. Where are you in this path? I wonder what you think about Jesus? Do you agree that He came to this world? Do you believe He is the Son of God? Do you believe that He died and resurrected and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God?  A Christian author, A.W. Tozer said "Christianity at any given time is strong or weak depending upon her concept of God." If you believe in Jesus, it is not enough that you believe. What is your concept of God? How much can you share about Jesus to your parents or your siblings on reasons why you believe? If you don't believe and would want to know the answers, I encourage you to give this a shot. Don

Hair Talk

Have you experienced getting tired of removing your hair fall in the sink, floors and comb? Lately because of my hyperthyroidism, I've been looking for natural products for my body. That's when I decided using gugo shampoo which I bought from herbal store in QC Circle for about P80+ (around 236ml bottle). It worked! It lessened my hair fall BUT my problem was hair conditioner.  I always need conditioner for my rebonded-hair otherwise, it will get dry and stubborn. I tried the keratin hot oil but it's tedious to do every time I take a bath. I also bought the creamsilk once a week treatment but I can only use it once. So I thought of going back to my usual Pantene Conditioner. This now defeats the purpose of going natural with my gugo shampoo. So now, what will I do? Since I can't find conditioner in QC Circle Herbal Store and I don't want to buy gugo conditioner because they are expensive in groceries, I tried something different with my Pantene Conditioner.

Baking Soda Household Life Hacks (updated)

Since I got married, I've been busy researching on household cleaning tips. One of the cleaning agents I found out that's really helpful is baking soda. Here are some of the things I use it for aside from baking. Please make extra reading/researching if you will try my list. Solution: 1 tbsp of baking soda dissolved in 2 tbsp of water and use brush/sponge. Finish by rinsing with water and towel/paper dry. 1. Cleaning surfaces - to remove stubborn dirt on your white furniture, sinks, tiles and toilet bowls. If the dirt is seemingly deep, you can leave the solution for 30 minutes and do the brushing and rinse with water then dry. 2. Cleaning teeth and retainers - After brushing your teeth with usual toothpaste, follow this baking soda solution and rinse. You will definitely feel how clean your teeth are after. This process makes your teeth whiter too. I suggest do this every other day only. 3. Scrub - include small amount of baking soda with your once a week body scrub and

Pugad Oinkster

Yup! I'm blogging about food today. :) This isn't my first in Oinkster. I will be honest, the first time I ate here, I didn't like the idea of oily food so I didn't plan going back very soon. But today, I thought, why not, who doesn't want comfort food? Oinkster is a small restaurant along Maginhawa; but food choices are pretty complete as they have starters, sandwiches, UNLI BACON (boy, the younger peeps I was with ordered bacon except me! I'm such a tita haha!) entrees and dessert (yeah dessert because it's just fried Oreos). I ordered Angus Beef Tapa and one waffle for ONLY about Php 200. Not bad! My friends ordered a plate of bacon and waffles for less than a hundred. Sulit! Just enough for comfort food cravings. You may ask how's the taste? Overall, on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the highest, I'd grade it 7. It's not the best but good enough for the price. By the way, I enjoyed my Angus Beef Tapa. In case you want to try, I foun

I've been watching Myx

Lately I've been checking Myx. It's a local music channel, a local version of MTV. I am curious what type of music is up nowadays. Top songs are still about break ups or turning somebody on. Nothing much changed (I guess) but something did change, because music tells you what's happening in the society. It mirrors the mindset of the people who listen to the music because they make them popular or unpopular. I think these top songs tell you two things: first, you are amazing and second, nothing can make you the opposite. Check this one: "One kiss is all it takes, Falling in love with me, Possibilities" Or this one: Ain't got no tears in my body I ran out, but boy, I like it, I like it, I like it Don't matter how, what, where, who tries it We're out here vibin', we vibin', we vibin' Self worth is all over the songs on top chart. But, this shouldn't surprise me because we are in an era where self-expression is a

The Rise Of Adlai Rice

Since I've learned about Adlai, I can't help sharing it to others, like what I am doing now. So what is it about Adlai? Adlai is not really rice, it's a grain. This grain is currently grown in Mindanao, in high altitude areas. They say this is the 'rice' of the IPs or the Indigenous People. So again, what's with Adlai to get interested in? It's glutten-free and the taste is close to rice. If you are consuming black or red rice for health purpose or whatever reason, you better try this for comparison and decide for yourself if you will switch...I bet you will. Capturing this photo from UCC's menu, they are offering Adlai! For now it's pricey but who knows, when the demand increases, we'll be able to afford it along with our regular rice in the market.

Note To My Future Baby

Dear Baby (boy/girl) Mom and Dad got married last year in January 27. The wedding was awesome. Far greater than what we planned and prayed for. The Lord, yes, you should know Him, He is the Giver of every good and perfect gift, like that wedding. It has been a year since and we are waiting for you. Actually, a lot of people are waiting for you, sometimes, more excited than mom and dad.  Now, since you are still a bubble-thought, a prayer, a topic of conversation once we enter a party/fellowship or chat room, there are certain things I want to share to you that I wish you are actually here so I can personally tell you.  Mom and Dad are fine that you are not yet here but we would be totally thankful to the Lord, yes He gives the approval, if you come.  Mom's baby for now is Dad. I promised to the Lord that I will be by his side no matter what. In fact, Dad promised the same to me.  Mom and Dad is praying still for you to come soon and we know a lot more other
