Why different?  It's different because our challenge is to run 1000km.  Seriously? Yes, we are serious. ehdirunwithme's challenge is to run 1000km in 3 hours. Impossible? No, it's doable because ehdirunwithme is calling for crowdrunners to run together and reach the 1000km run and raise the fund for hospital and medical needs of needy individuals. Not that I just learned how to ride a bike, but it's been quite a long time since I rode a bike again--that's where I got the purpose of adding a post in annderthesun. I'll start by saying, I am stupid (ouch!). Yes, I am. I have to say that before I tell you that I rode a bike not noticing that I was running flat, until I reached my sister's house which is about a kilometer away. You may imagine my struggle in pedaling. I was running like an old horse trying to pedal but the more I tried, the more I get tired and I felt that the effort was useless. I thought, do I really lack exercise this much? So, I stopped and went and stopped again; after 3 stops and reaching about 400 meters from house, I decided to end my despair and take a tricycle to my sister's house. I was happy to reach my sister's place alive and have the energy to play basketball with my 8-year old nephew. I ate Koko Krunch while he is eating his brunch before going to school. Nuong teenager ako, ang tingin ko sa mga 30something ang tanda-tanda na nila. Dapat may asawa na sila. Dapat marami na silang narating sa buhay. I thought these people must have gone through a lot of experiences and they are the wisest. Tipong alam na nila ang gagawin nila in any given situation. They are the Ate's and the Kuya's. Be Thou My Vision Lately God has been reminding me of that hymn, Be Thou My Vision. In the lyrics it says, "Thou my best thought by day or by night; waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light..." God is a jealous God. He does not want his children to worship other gods or any "uncertain riches" 1Tim6:17. My heart is prone to wander. His thoughts, His Word, should always be with me as I work, as I meet people, as I do my errands for the day and my goals to achieve. Last night, I've learned to pray for God's will. I am 35, single  (technically)   who have been asked numerous times every February of my life this same generic and sometimes annoying question of what will I do on the 14th? Normally my answer would just be a smile but this year is different. I have an answer, we have an all-girls-sleep-over partey!!! Last Feb14 (on a Friday, Payday, Valentines), while the Metro is cursed with heavy traffic both on streets and in trains (ya! people-traffic), I stayed at home the whole day to prepare for the night. My housemates and I, invited our girl friends to have a Valentines party at home and we called it P.U.S.O. Obviously, I am not talking about the celebrity but the guy I often 'hang out' with (well, sometimes he can be a celebrity hihi ayown oh >> )  Because today is special, let me share to you some of the reasons why I think he is such an amazing man... I like talking with and listening to him...   He speaks kindly and  tries to listen attentively. He shares nerdy but interesting things...i think hehe. He'd give his thoughts and would ask what you think about them.  ...wag lang makakatulog :) I like doing things with him...  Eat, travel, eat again, church activities or even in stillness... I like that he has his unique ways of making fun of himself... A photo-bomber, OA, and more...LOL I like that he has good taste for arts... I can go on and on but among many things, I like his love for the Lord and passion to serve... To my Lloydie, Dingdong, I hope I didn't make you 'very uncomfor...
